• Reading and making of NetMaps and AsBuilts of Chorus Network.
• Knowledge about Civil and underground ducting and Services.
• Examine design specifications and work area to determine the least obstructive way to run the Fibre optics cable without disrupting existing underground services.
• Fibre optic splicing, Fibre blowing, termination at patch panels, installation and splicing at cabinets and exchanges.
• Network installation and configuring routers to provide customer access to UFB.
• Fault Finding and troubleshooting through designated equipment and power meter.
• Performing cable builds through underground or aerial including laying, surface mounting,installing the conduits, ribbonet jointing and connecting the home to the fibre optic network at the boundary.
• Making a clean and effective design for MDU, ROW, SUB DIVISION, INFILL.
• Coordinated installation of new customers and relocations of existing customers.
• Responded to service requests during and after business hours.
