  • Administered medications via oral and sub cutaneous and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
  • Performed routine wound care and dressing changes on schedule. Have completed wound training with Mandy Pagan.

  • I began as a new graduate Enrolled Nurse in the Resource Unit. I was the first new grad to be given this role, and this role contributed to my ever evolving practice.
  • I worked all over the hospital, with the exception of NICU and ICU. Medical, Surgical, Cardiac and Renal Wards.
  • Completed education for haemodialysis, and was assisting a patient in Invercargill with this.
  • Post my new grad programme, I was offered a position in the over 65 Rehab ward (6a).
  • I worked here for just over a year doing all usual nursing tasks required. At this time, DPH were well established with the Enrolled Nursing Role, and their guidance was exceptional.
