As a current rugby player at Kelston Boys, I’ve learned the value of hard work, discipline, and teamwork both on and off the field. I’m committed to chasing my dream of becoming a professional player and making my family proud. Rugby has taught me to stay focused, show up on time, and give 100% effort in everything I do. I believe these qualities will help me succeed in a role at Woolworth, where being reliable, working well with others, and giving positive service all matter.

House sitting gave me a real sense of responsibility and trust. I was in charge of looking after someone’s home while they were away, which included things like keeping the place tidy, taking care of pets, collecting mail and deliveries, and just making sure everything was safe and running smoothly. It might sound simple, but it really taught me how important it is to be reliable, organised, and pay attention to the little things. I believe those same qualities are really valuable in a role like cashier at Woolworth, where it’s important to stay focused, be trustworthy, and give customers a good experience

Working as a youth support worker taught me a lot about patience, communication, and staying calm under pressure. I supported young people like me through different challenges, helped them stay on track with their goals, and created a safe, respectful environment for them to grow. This role really strengthened my people skills and taught me how to work with care and understanding qualities I know are just as important when helping customers and working as part of a team at Woolworth.
