This was a temporary position while waiting for an apprenticeship to materialise with ETCO

• Cleaned and sanitized dishes and utensils, consistently keeping adequate supplies on hand for expected customer loads.
• Chopped vegetables, cut up fruit, and prepared sauces when kitchen staff was busy.
• Managed time to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease.
• Maintained clean, trash-free workspaces to maximize productivity and safety.
• Followed proper handling and sanitation procedures to comply with food safety standards and protocols.
• Restocked supplies and prepared additional ingredients during downtime for expected busy periods.
• Cleaned and maintained work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Loaded dishes, glasses and tableware into dishwashing machines.
• Followed food safety practices and sanitation guidelines.
• Lifted and carried heavy materials.
• Front of house customer interaction when required

I was offered a position at ETCO after having met a number of prerequisites before being accepted into their programme i.e.

• Sit a number of Psychometric tests - Numerical, Personality, Mechanical reasoning
• Gain my Full licence
• Be able to drive a Manual vehicle
• Attend an interview

The programme is initiated with a 2 week bootcamp to learn pre-apprenticeship skills before being placed with an Electrical company. Unfortunately this bootcamp was cancelled twice due to the lack of Electrical Apprenticeships being offered by Electrical companies.

• Demonstrated skilled use and maintenance of landscape tools and equipment. Weed wackers and hedge clippers
• Removed weeds, hazards, and debris from common pathways to improve usability.
• Transferred materials to designated areas using wheelbarrows.
• Collected and removed debris at job sites.
• Used customer feedback to make operational improvements.
• Maintained grounds by trimming, weeding, and general clean-up.
• Mowed lawns using self-propelled mowers.
