I have done quite a lot of work in the food industries as a young person as money was hard to come by in the 70s 80s there was no benefits or Governtment help for big families so many of us finished school at 14 and sent to work my 1st job was in a butcher where i learnt cuts and meat packing labeling etc he was a lovely person but was only a small butcher and he couldnt afford me but got a job not long after by a company called Peach Products i stayed with this company for many years till i started my own family and went on to have 6 children who are now adults i guess my work ethics or should i say our work ethics in NZ speak for its self.

6 MonthsI worked in all departments of the Ofal within the meat Works, from pet food to blood room tripe room, Mountain Chains as well as the Green Room when needed and also the processing department patty wacks tables 1 to 4 you could say i was a floater we worked as a team hard and fast and i loved that part of my job. I have worked the boning room trimming packing etc. I finished working when the beef season had finished due to my husband having a stroke i cared for him from then but i am now ready for work i am punctual i do not take time of and i do work hard and fast and i learn quickly.
