  • This role involves connecting internally within the organisation and externally with community providers and groups to strengthen place-based, integrated approaches to care
  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to CEO & Senior Leadership Team
  • Working with Rainbow Communities to enhance and strengthen peri-natal care (through community-centered research)
  • Engaging with international research including presenting at the North American Conference for Integrated Care in Canada October 2024
  • Facilitating workshops and hui within and across teams (internally and externally)
  • Scoping and connecting opportunities for community-led service and relationship opportunities (including iwi, former refugee, Pasifica) with our wider team
  • Supporting and mentoring kaimahi in evaluation and engagement
  • Exploring equity and Te Tiriti-centered approaches

Muaūpoko Tribal Authority (May 2022 – Jan 2024)

Project lead for Horowhenua Locality (Takiwā) Prototype

  • Lead on whānau and community engagement, co-designing and implementing an approach embedded in Te Ao Māori frameworks; Co-development and writing of successful RFPs for Crown Funding
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management including whānau, iwi, community groups and organisations and local and central government
  • Through affirmative evaluation, co-developed service delivery model and ‘Localities Readiness’ report

Kapiti Coast District Council (May 2021- 2022)

Human-Centered Strategy for Community Centre Rebuild - Designed and developed ‘people friendly approaches’ for reimagining community engagement based on extensive community engagement. This approach is currently being rolled out in the community, and has led to the creation of the recommended 'Meanwhile Space.'

Social Impact Fund evaluation for KCDC - Reviewed processes and outcomes for successful applicants and provided recommendations based on Appreciative Inquiry approach and interviews

Ōtaki Youth Centre Engagement for KCDC - Led design and facilitated engagement with rangatahi and mentored rangatahi and kaimahi to deliver engagement.

Workshop facilitation for organisations including Youthline, Family Support Manawatu and Women in Business, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority and Horowhenua District Council.
