This is where i undertook my 3 year painting Apprenticeship. i was lucky enough to be nominated by my employer for the national apprentice of the year awards where i made the top 4 apprentices in New Zealand!
This entailed a week long competition between my competitors and i where we undertook a small project to to be painted then judged. i didn't get the win but was super proud of achieving the top 4 apprentices in New Zealand and really enjoyed the whole experience of the competition.
During my apprenticeship i learnt a wide range of painting skills
where i painted surfaces using brushes, spray guns, and paint rollers. i also learnt the importance of prep work as this gives the job the best finish possible
Boner/Butcher Knife Hand
This is where i learnt how to break down carcasses such as lamb, mutton and bobby calf's with the use of a knife to therefore be packaged and distributed around the world. whilst doing so i had to adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure quality and safety of the meat products
