Summary

I am passionate about authentic education that empowers rangatahi to feel success and achieve critical autonomy. I have a strong academic background on the history, philosophy and pedagogy of authentic education.

My experience shows a proven track record of fostering inclusive learning in special education environments, and implementing effective strategies that are ākonga centred. I am practised with adapting lessons for diverse learning needs and successfully implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to enhance student engagement and progress.

I place a strong emphasis on team collaboration with my fellow kaiako in order to achieve positive educational outcomes for all rangitahi. Most importantly, I have authentic relationships based on demonstrated respect, trust and manaaki with my rangatahi and their whānaus.
