Summary

I am currently in my fourth year of studying for a Bachelor Degree of Social Work. I have always worked with people and really enjoy that social aspect of my life. From my years of study and social work placements at the Beneficiaries of Unwaged Workers Trust and Presbyterian Support Nelson, I have been able to demonstrate core social work values; advocacy and support for self-determination, empowerment, collaboration with other professionals, connection, professional boundaries and critical reflection. Although I have no specific experience in the mental health or addictions sector, I am passionate in gaining experience and I am open to learning.
