Edward Botherway

• Founder and Managing Director of Athlete Resourcing Limited. Athlete Resourcing provides student athletes with causal work that fits in with busy training and competing schedules. This ensures that our clients are getting fit, strong and hard working workers supplied to them.

During my ongoing tenure as Managing Director I have:

• Established organizational mission statement through extensive collaboration and review.
• Studied market to determine optimal pricing of goods and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Spearheaded over 10 third-party contract negotiations to obtain favorable pricing and scheduling parameters.
• Facilitated over $5,000 in average weekly revenue.
• Interviewed, supervised and motivated over 35 casual staff members to achieve optimal productivity.
• Been approached with business merger and acquisition offers.

I initially had the idea and started doing work on the business at the end of 2021 but I didn't start operations until october 2022.

• I coach the senior group of young men rowing at St Andrews College.
• We coach and manage the largest team of rowers out of any school in New Zealand.
• St Andrews is one of the most highly regarded rowing programs in the country.

• Another summer job I did was working at New World.

During my time at New World I experienced:

• Alternated goods in inventory by observing first-in and first-out approach to keep shelves organized and properly stocked.
• Checked and pulled defective or expired products from shelves.
• Evaluated incoming products quality issues and processed unacceptable materials for return.
• Worked as apart of a large team.

• I worked as an assistant to a foreman for C2 Builders as a summer job .

Some of my experience included:

• Studied plans for each job to gain understanding of materials, tools and work required.
• Determined materials needed for daily shift and loaded vehicles with equipment and supplies.
• Measured dimensions of finished pieces for conformance to specifications.
• I was also offered a full time position and apprenticeship but declined the offer to pursue university studies.

• Manual labour working for a local scaffolding business.
• Holiday job.

• Fundraised for the Aviva foundation
• Removed graffiti vandalism around Christchurch
• Dropped flyers in mail boxes promoting charities
• Went door to door checking on vulnerable residents and dropping off meals through the 'meals on wheels' program.
• Planted native plants through the earthquake 'red zone' in Christchurch.

• Over the past 6 years I have pursued film making as a hobby but have also done commissioned work upon request.

During my time I have gained experience in:

• Completing pre-production planning such as setting budgets, hiring crew and cast members and obtaining permits.
• Planned and captured sound recording for short films.
• Captured audio and video live at events.
• Produced promotional videos for a residential building company and contractors.
• Produced promotional videos for sports clubs, teams and schools.
