- Monitoring and reporting on any changes in behaviour, breaches in safety or potential threats

- Escorting prisoners to Court appearances, and prison transfers using both prison transport systems and commercial aircraft
- Assisting the ‘Self-Care’ prisoners with their budgets and providing an escort so they could complete their weekly grocery shopping
- Monitoring, observing, and reporting on client behaviour, identifying any emerging issues and communicating these to the team and specialist staff as required
- Being proactive with regular communication with the clients to evaluate their concerns, and review their progress against their treatment plan, identifying any issues and providing solutions where appropriate
- Daily liaison with the clients and the team to ensure a collaborative approach is taken in the design and monitoring of the treatment plans
- Communicating any issues that need addressing
- Building strong relationships to ensure open communication, collaborative problem solving, to provide positive reinforcement on their progress and keep their motivation levels high.
- Assisted in the development of individualized treatment plans for each inmate based on their needs and risk factors.
- Initiated disciplinary action when necessary, following established procedures for documenting violations and infractions.
- Provided guidance and support to inmates in need of assistance with personal matters or adjustment to prison life.
