Engaging ESL educator with experience working as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) on the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Programme for 2 years. Especially skilled in working with children and Japanese students. Adept at creating engaging lesson plans that enhance vocabulary enrichment and promote active participation. I have insight and experience in classroom management and cultural sensitivity. I cultivate strong relationships with students and colleagues, creating a supportive learning environment for diverse learners.

Experience in working with children and adults from a wide array of cultural backgrounds to teach English as a second language. I am also experienced in providing resources to further help students with their studies outside the classroom.

I have Dyslexia and Dyscalculia, which heightens my empathy and understanding towards those who struggle with learning or also have a learning disability.

I am a recent graduate with foundational knowledge in the Japanese language and culture, as well as CELTA, and have hands-on experience gained through academic projects and internships.

I demonstrate strong teamwork, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

I am excited to further build on my teaching experience, and I wish to enhance, strengthen, and use my Japanese language and cultural skills.
