I've been working as a Shift Manager for approximately one year in my time at McDonald's. I manage staff from 15 years of age and older and have experience in running - Breakfast, Lunch, Nightside and Overnight shifts. My role includes the following:

• Improve overall team performance by effectively delegating tasks and providing clear instructions to staff whilst running/ supporting shifts.
• Dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone with the aim to achieve customer satisfaction by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote a positive work environment through open communication and constructive feedback, as well as lots of positive feedback.
• Marking off stock deliveries
• Completing Food Safety, which includes taking temps of food product to ensure safety of our customers.
• Training Crew on McDonald's procedures
• Cash Handling, which includes counting and assigning tills, depositing money, as well as cash orders for backup.
