Summary

I have harboured a lifelong ambition to enter the field of veterinary medicine and feel privileged to have achieved this opportunity and am now looking forward to putting all I have learnt into practice.

I enjoy the diagnostic and workup nature of small animal practice, allowing vets to use problem solving skills along with valuable resources to come to a conclusion. With large animal practice, I enjoy the preventive side to farming, management on a herd level in order to be more productive and efficient.

My experience so far has shown me that there will be lifelong learning and that it is important to keep up to date. I am hoping to find a specific area of practice that I can excel at while maintaining a broad field of work.

I consider myself an organized, hardworking person who enjoys being part of a team both at work and outside. I am punctual and reliable. People tell me I am caring and compassionate, generally with a level temperament and try to maintain a positive attitude.
