I am a highly motivated medical registrar entering my seventh postgraduate, joining the college in 2021. Having completed basic training and the RACP examination process, I am excited to apply my knowledge to clinical practice as an advanced trainee.. I believe in the importance of a well rounded General Physician who has a broad knowledge base, is patient centered and understands the importance of pastoral support for junior colleagues.

• Master of Research in Epidemiology, 2016, 2016, 12 month research project into dietary behaviors according to socioeconomic status and their effect upon public health. Subsequent regional oral and poster presentation at the North East Post Graduate Research Conference, United Kingdom
• Audit Croydon University Hospital, 2017, 2017, How well is Glasgow scoring performed for pancreatitis. Data collection from over 300 patients admitted with a raised lipase to Croydon university hospital during a 6 month period. Poster presentation for Association of Surgeons Northern Ireland and Great Britain 2018
• Quality Improvement Project Croydon University Hospital, 2018, 2018, Falling Short Junior Doctors confidence and ability in assessing the fallen patient. Presentation at Annual Research Meeting
• Audit Rotorua Hospital, 2021, 2021, Management of Malignant Spinal Cord Compression. The basis of this established a pathway for combined management of these patients across the Emergency department, Orthopedics and General Medicine. Aim to re-audit 2024.
• Working Party to enable Shared Goals of Care form rollout in Rotorua Hospital

• Cycled the length of New Zealand in 8 days, raising ten thousand dollars for charity
• Co-founder of regional hub in Newcastle, United Kingdom for the Charity StreetDoctors. The organization aims to provide basic life support training to teenagers at risk of violent crime. Over 10,000 young people across the UK have now been taught lifesaving skills.
