I had a little business doing relief farm work for who ever needed it from milking to helping out over calfing
I started with Greame as a milker working my way up to 2 ic where I was in charge of the milking shed on other workers days of I milked alone in a 50 bale rotary.,I would do farm walks with plate meter and then a cdax grass meter
My skills would be milking sole charge when needed
I love fencing
I have done hay contracting
Ploughing feet spreading with a samm spreader
Lame cows
Mastitis detection
Treating cows with metabolic issues
I also have my grow safe certificate
In my spare time I enjoy going to stockcars.Fishing surfing the internet to get new ideas about farming and to help further my knowledge.I also like to spend time with friends and family so I can unwind and start my new rostered time on fresh
I don't do drugs of any kind and hardly ever drink alcohol.I am easy to get on with and love helping my fellow work mates.I love farming but gave it up to look after my sick mother who was dying from cancer. Now she has passed away I am looking for someone to give me a chance at showing them what I can do.I know that I will need to probably start again after having a number of years out of farming and I am happy to start wherever an employer wants me weather that is entry level or 2ic to herd management. I just would like the opportunity to so what I can do and to also learn new skills
