  • Provide leadership, management and pastrol care of whare tiaki kaimahi.
  • Be a role model to the service team and promote harmonious relationships with our partnering organizations
  • To ensure service contract is being carried out and contractual obligations are being met
  • Position is on call 24/7 and ensures the care team provides effective 24/7 support
  • Support at Rangatahi Family Group Conference and Rangatahi Court appearances when needed
  • Ensure all policies and procedures with regards to services, are relevant and operations manual is understood and adhered to.
  • Tikanga and kawa of the Whare are understood and upheld and ensure that on-shift safety, security and risk management practices are maintained.
  • Be available by telephone to trouble shoot - Be available for the occasional night shift if necessary - Transition planning through Multi-agency team meetings - Whānau relationship development when appropriate
  • Work history dates back the following year after I completed secondary school in 2006 - worked for companies Sealords, Talleys, Sanfords, Goldpine and Currently Whakatu Marae Inc as a Youth Worker, Whanau ora navigator and currently Manager of Whare Tiaki (youth bail home). Have had great relationships with each company and shifted to other opportunites due to recession, better pay to support my whanau or change of lifestyle

My whanau are everything to me and are my biggest WHY. I enjoy spending time with them both at home or on holiday. I grew up playing sport, specifically rugby league and enjoy watching my tamariki play sports
