Seasoned Quantity Surveyor, managed projects from inception to completion, including initial cost projections, negotiation with contractors, monthly reports and Cost to Complete projections to funders and developers. Experienced working with NEC, JBCC and FIDIC contracts in South Africa and NZS3910 and 3916 in New Zealand. Excellent client and funder relationships built over the years.

Gained experience in New Zealand where developers and contractors are in financial distress with methodology changes to manage the situations with the funders to complete projects. Also acting as the head contractor on the projects to issue monthly valuations in overseeing the claim issued by the head contractor. Funders on projects in New Zealand included major banks but mostly funders from outside New Zealand. Working closely with funders and main contractors (and in some cases sub contractors) opens knowledge on both sides of the project.
