I am a Auckland University of Auckland (AUT) graduate of Mechanical Engineering with six years experience in operations management, sales and delivery in the small and medium enterprise market. For the last couple of years I have been the Operations Manager at Auckland Energy Solutions, a company that provides heating and cooling solutions for light commercial and residential clients. Initially I was onboarded as a Sales Consultant with the intent to gain experience in our go-to-market products. Prior to that I worked for Boston Wardrobes, a company that manufactured and installed wardrobe systems for the same market segments.

When required I am not scared to get my hands dirty and directly assist staff to get the job done. I believe the part of being a good manager is to have an extensive knowledge of the entire delivery process.

• Manage inventory including; maintain appropriate stock levels, complete large quantity ordering from overseas based on forecasting, and stock counts.
• Manufacture new products to create a factory specification worksheet (figure out required details/specifications of a new product to be replicated by other staff).
• Correspond with commercial construction sites regarding installation and quality assurance, provide insight on potential problems which may occur.
• Improve factory efficiency by creating large cut lists and optimising stock usage to reduce waste, working with factory staff on improving productivity.
• Programming CNC and computer aided machinery.
• Assist the current operations manager and factory manager with getting a critical job completed where necessary.
• Assist with stock transfers between factory and warehouses to maintain appropriate levels for future work to be completed.
• Check completed work and externally made work is correct before being sent out.
• Manufacture doors and organisers from parts to a high level.
• Deliver completed jobs to site.
