Euan Simpson

I have worked here when ever I was needed in the school holidays, They either had me cutting material on a bandsaw, welding teeth onto bail feeders and little tasks here and there. Helping out at Burkharts over the years has really encouraged my passion for the metal work industry and trades in general. Working here has given me a keen eye for perfection and making products to a high standard.

During my time working in fencing I gained many valuable practical and life skills, always be kind to others, taking notes, asking questions etc. I've always loved working in trades and learning new ones so its pretty cool to have gained the skills to fence a farm, build retaining walls etc.

During my time washing dishes at the Lepperton cafe I gained a lot of knowledge around running a business and dealing with people.

At the age of 12 I came up with the idea to create my own lawn mowing business in my neighbourhood. At my peek I was mowing 7 lawns a week. This business was a great experience for me. I learnt people skills and money saving.
