
I am a passionate, empathic, and driven registered nurse with about two years experience. I have gained a lot of skills and knowledge with developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships in a community setting, working with patients and whanau’s during vulnerable life stages and delivering person-centred care while empowering people in their healthcare journey. I am a young and energetic nurse, who is ready to learn new skills and support women and babies in the perinatal stage of motherhood. As a new mum myself, I feel I am well suited to this role as I will be able to connect to and empower women as I have not long been through this stage of motherhood myself.
I am able work in collaboration with other health professionals to deliver coordinated care for the best health outcomes for patients and their Whanau’s
I am able to confidently work autonomously and have the skills to make safe clinical decisions independently within my scope of practice while out in the community visiting patients and their Whanau
I have developed excellent time management skills to ensure all patients are seen with an appropriate amount of time allocated per visit to deliver safe, person-centred care I also have the skill to complete clear, concise and accurate documentation in a timely manner
