Summary

I am currently an 'FY3' doctor. I completed medical school and foundation training in the UK. So far in my FY3 year I have worked for 6 months as an SHO in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in New Zealand. On returning to the UK I am keen explore roles in medicine, ED and O&G, to gain further experience before applying for specialty training. I have gained many competencies throughout my Foundation Training and time working abroad, and feel confident reviewing and initiating treatment for patients in an acute setting, whilst knowing when to escalate appropriately and seek senior advice. I feel confident in managing ward jobs in and out of hours, and working with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standard of compassionate patient care.
