We do all the maintenance work on all cars, it includes all A.B.C check work.

We do our own shunting in the yard, moving our cars around, how they need to be.

Kiwirail is all about safety so we dit heaps of training regarding safety

At kiwirail you work with all types of hand tool in a workshop to get the job done if needed

• Electrical and Mechanical fitting of trains, mainly the air and brake systems
• Assembling and testing all small valves, stripping and building and testing of db20 valve, stripping and building and testing of a slack adjuster, mechanical and electrical building of the 18e, 15e, 19e Air Equipment frame.
