I joined Omexom in October of last year. Approximately three weeks later, we were informed that the yard would be closing down shortly and that all workers would be made redundant. During my time there, I gained valuable experience working on the distribution lines for four and a half months, during which I successfully achieved my Level 2 Certificate. Just before the closure, I was fortunate to transition to their transmission yard, where I gained further experience in that area of work and received an introduction to the companays specific rescue procedures.
