For the past seven years my main field was hospitality. By virtue of the nature of this robust and efficient industry I have gained a variety of skills and I am always eager to learn more.
This job was more diverse and brought me a lot of joy and knowledge. Thanks to Interislander I got confident in observing and preventing situations that could cause harm to people and environment. Additionally, working here during busy season got my personal character a boost - taught me to how to be more patient and vigilant.
I thoroughly enjoyed working here with a team of people from different countries. Most of all I loved learning about locally produced beverages and imported wines. I honed my multitasking, stress management, and problem solving in there.
This was a part-time job while I was studying. I got to apply the knowledge I was learning and gained many new practical skills in there.
