Summary

I am a lively and outgoing early childhood educator who approaches teaching as a “big kid” alongside the children – playing, exploring, and discovering together. My goal is to create a joyful, play-based environment where children learn naturally and feel secure, while easing parents’ concerns and making our centre feel like a second home. In my current role as Lead Teacher for the 4–5 age group, I design and lead engaging, child-led programmes such as Letter of the Week, Lunchbox Day, daily Show & Tell, and interactive Mat Time to build confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills. I also develop and implement IEPs for children with diverse needs, work closely with parents, therapists, and primary school teachers, and bring creativity into the classroom through art, music (including live saxophone and dance), and multicultural education.
