  • 1.Please share your understanding of the Practice Mentor role and what appeals to you about the day-to-day work / motivates you to join the Knowledge & Capability team?
  • What excited me most about practice mentor role is the chance to watch someone transform not in just in term of their competencies but also in their confidence. Being part of someone growth process, providing guidance when they need it most, is deeply satisfying seeing the plans and systems being action and able to see the result is what drive me most.
  • 2. What skills and experience do you bring that would make you a great Practice Mentor
  • One of my core strengths is attention to detail and ability to set systems and plans whenever notice there is problem, I’m also highly organized and goal-oriented, which helps me support others in tracking their progress, reflecting on their practice, and making tangible improvements.
  • Over the course of my career, I’ve gained hands-on experience in admin role, which has given me a clear understanding of the day-to-day challenges and opportunities practitioners face. I’ve mentored colleagues informally throughout this time, providing guidance, feedback, and support — and I’ve seen how impactful that kind of consistent encouragement and accountability can be.
  • I have passion of learning and sharing the knowledge.
  • Just as importantly, I believe mentoring is a two-way street. I approach it with curiosity, always open to learning from those I support. My aim is to create a safe, constructive space where people feel motivated to grow and succeed.
  • 3.Please outline your experience in the Recovery Administration
  • My ability to effectively manage tasks and collaborate with team members has significantly contributed to my performance. I build my skill around multi-tasking and understanding different types of tasks and referrals and learn to be flexible around challenging tasks and developed new plans how to prioritize them and work with RTM to come out with best outcome to client and send the referrals as fast as possible.

  • Recorded time doing the HSC uplifts: I got the opportunity to work on CP2 codes and helped with the minimum wage uplift,I was able also to teach to someone new how to do the uplift.

  • PART helper for ARTPs test for cover accesses: I also had the chance to collaborate with the RIG trail's treatment support team.
  • Follow Up project – I was able to identify there is delay from provider when sending us the report I modified the follow up steps and how I approach the providers in order to to get best outcome to client and get notes as fast as possible to help RTM to take decisions around the claim.

  • Full50 test: I was able to identify my strengths more clearly after taking the exam, and this year I tried to improve my performing style. I am always willing to learn new techniques and put them into practice.

  • Suremed SME: For my roles being Suremed sme I was helping my colleague with Surmed inquires and questions related to practice I got chance also to help IDM when they receive medical note from Suremed containing wrong client details would take responsibility to contact konnect and update the portal.
  • I have worked on my performance and increase my numbers consistently delivers the workload equivalent to 3 FTEs each day while maintaining the quality.
  • I have notice pattern and issues like privacy breach and key messages have come out because of this.
  • 4.Please share your experience in helping coach, grow and develop capability for teams or individuals, where you have identified a need for support?
  • I have completed 2 days of training for the newbies this year and also did learning huddle
  • As being buddy support I am helping colleague to navigate back on how to do tasks after long break by encouraging her and supporting her daily is incredibly fulfilling to see someone push through tough time and emerge stronger with renewed energy.
  • Kapahu: 15 questions a week on average: I had helped my colleagues with some training on how navigate eos and how there are few tools can assist them to finish task fast while maintaining quality. I started assisting my colleagues with new tasks also learned how to pass the information according to their style.
  • While assisting my colleague, I discovered that everyone has a different communication style, and that in order to convey information in a way that they can grasp.
