I enjoy interacting with and helping people to provide them the best experience possible. I work well with others and have a happy, outgoing nature however I have experience with sole work and can do so when required. I am a hard worker, flexible and adaptable to any situation which may arise. I’m good at thinking on my feet but don’t hesitate to reach out if I do need help or an extra hand with a task. I am interested in a role where I can use my interests, skills, and enthusiasm to create an excellent customer experience and further my experience in the retail and sales world.
The company realised my happiness was diminishing in the Supervisor role with no support around me and after a chat with the area manager we decided switching to this role would be best.
In this role my main task is on the truck helping with deliveries Monday-Friday, occasionally Saturday. I am also responsible for sorting out delivery schedules and making sure that customers receive the correct product when it comes to the day of delivery. Part of this job is also keeping storage areas not only tidy but organised so certain products can be found with ease.
I will occasionally be asked to work in store as a sales assistant on days where sales are active or we are expecting a high volume of customers. Selling to customers, entering sales and ordering stock and helping with any general enquiries to ensure customers have the best experience possible.
Trusted Keyholder.
With a lack of a Branch Manager at the Wellington store I was required to oversee the running of the branch in every aspect: sorting rosters and editing them where necessary, ordering and receipting in stock from not only our Christchurch factory but also suppliers all over the country, arranging deliveries daily, selling to customers, entering sales and orders, dealing with any issues that may arise whether they are internal or simply if a customer has a problem.
Trusted keyholder.
As a Senior Sales Assistant at Brownies I was working under the Branch Manager ensuring customers were looked after and were provided the best service possible. While it was my managers responsibility to order stock and complete paperwork I ended up doing most of this as he did not get around to it as quick as I did.
Towards the end of this role when I was more experienced and had better knowledge of the products I started getting more involved with long standing customers and organisations that purchase from us to further build good relationships and was able to complete any paperwork head office required when needed.
Occasionally helped out on the truck when our second delivery driver (left company in April 2024) was unable to work.
