I'm a dedicated and driven individual with a lifelong passion for surfing and a deep commitment to academic and personal growth. Hailing from Gisborne, New Zealand, I have honed my skills both in the waves and the classroom. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sports Development and Management at the University of Otago.
As an accomplished amateur surfer, I have made waves on the national circuit and earned recognition as a standout competitor in the Junior Series. My talent and leadership qualities have led to my selection as the captain of the New Zealand Junior surfing team, representing this country with pride on the international stage.
My enduring partnership with Billabong, a relationship I have maintained since the age of 13, has provided me with firsthand experience in understanding the importance of integrity, professionalism, and brand representation. Through this sponsorship, I have cultivated a deep understanding of brand values and the significance of maintaining a strong brand image both on and off the waves.
Beyond my athletic pursuits, I'm deeply fascinated by human behaviour, particularly as it relates to decision-making and performance in high-pressure situations. I understand firsthand the critical role mental preparation plays in achieving success.
Despite facing adversity with the loss of my father at a young age, I have demonstrated resilience and determination in pursuing my dreams.
