While working at Rhodes construction I entered the next stage in my career as a qualified carpenter taking on more responsibility working directly with clients, sub-trades, engineers ect. Challenging myself with Working on architectural homes, renovations, landscaping, paving and more

While working at Phase 2 we generally built two story apartment buildings and in building these project I was able to practice basic building skills with great repetition while meeting very competitive dead lines.

• Used required tools to complete jobs, including hammers, saws, squares, levels and fastening devices
• Enhanced job site safety by vigilantly monitoring equipment and team members to prevent accidents
• Worked with speed and accuracy to consistently meet production standards
• Worked with more knowledgeable professionals to grow understanding of principles and construction standards

• Worked under direction of qualified builders to complete architectural homes and work independently under orders
• Boosted team performance by collecting debris, extra materials and tools to keep work areas clean and organized

• Learned diverse construction trades skills, including basic carpentry, painting and plastering
• Collaborated with team members to carry out efficient work with optimal safety and achieve timetables
• Worked in variety of jobs in civil industry such as drain-laying, road prep, boxing form work for garden beds foundations and drainage sumps
• Spent time working out side of christchurch mostly Auckland, Building for prolonged periods of time to complete intricate civil projects
