I am finishing my diploma this year, with plans to complete my degree next year, I have been actively involved in practical electrical work since high school.

At Solar Solutions Northland, I assisted in assembling lithium battery packs and installing solar panels for residential and off-grid applications.

At Transmarine Pro, I specialized in marine electrical systems, including rewiring boats for different voltage standards and upgrading propulsion systems with new generators and lithium battery banks. Additionally, I contributed to innovative projects such as developing and installing prototype electric outboard motors and robotic battery banks for cold storage facilities at Fonterra.

Growing up on a yacht & spending a considerable amount of time at sea has provided a strong foundation with both mechanical & electrical systems, where fault finding & problem solving are essential to the efficient running of a boat. This has given me the ability to think quickly & find the most effective solutions to problems in a high pressure environment.
