  • I left this role for a management opportunity within the CCC
  • Key Achievements:
  • Began the journey for the Youth Council to be truly independent therefore able to advocate without fear of funding implications
  • Lead a partnership with Outward Bound New Zealand, CCC and the Human Rights Commission to offer 15 scholarships each year to Outward Bound for youth from minority or disadvantage communities
  • Worked with Youth organisations to better work together whilst capacity building with those who were struggling to deliver accountabilities.
