- I have the ability to turn my hand to most types of construction work and believe I have a skill set that is valued along with my 40 years of experience in this industry.
- I enjoy the invigoration of being onsite with the team at the coal face tackling challenges and finding suitable solutions in a timely manner. I have vast experience client/consultant facing and very much enjoy creating professional, trust based long lasting relationships.
- My recent role was Client side Project Manager at Health NZ Tauranga/Whakatane. I worked in the Facilities and Business Operations (FBO) offices and coordinated all project works within the facilities team to ensure measured outcomes without unexpected surprises.
- Upgrades to various clinical services around the hospital were captured in a draft business case and made ready for submission to Wellington for approval. This required close coordination with the facilities team, senior level management, clinical user groups and consultants. Once an approved BC was received GETS tendering process along with contractual structure would be followed to appoint Engineer to Contract, consultants and main contractor.
- Health NZ Tauranga/Whakatane Facilities (FBO) followed service contractors list that would be coordinated to ensure works were interfaces with existing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, security, and clinical equipment installations.
- List of completed projects are identified briefly in my resume. My 4 years at HNZ was fought with challenges working in a live hospital environment but very rewarding.
