I pride myself on being a resourceful Administrative Manager known for high productivity and efficient task completion. I excel in communication within the workplace and time management to enhance organizational effectiveness. I am committed to fostering positive workplace culture and driving operational success.
I am highly organized and extremely motivated with experience in coordinating office operations, streamlining administrative procedures, and managing staff. I have strong skills in problem-solving, strategic planning and team leadership which have resulted in improved operational efficiency in my previous roles.
I have proven ability to develop effective communication systems, manage budgets, and lead diverse teams towards organizational goals all the while enjoying my work environment.
As Administration Manager, along with working on the front desk doing reception duties, I was also in charge of the accounts within the company, including GST returns, payroll, and reconciling the bank accounts.
When I worked at the reception desk, I was involved in making appointments for patients, controlling the physiotherapists' daily diaries, and scheduling their appointment books.
Although I have only worked for Vigour Physio for 15 months, this is because it is a newly established company buying my established business, SOAR Physio Te Awamutu, which I was in sole charge of for four years. Prior to this, I was in partnership with my ex-husband, who was a physiotherapist, but I left in 2019.
As co-owner of SOAR Physio Te Awamutu for five and a half years, then sole owner for four years, I was in charge of all the administration tasks, human resources, health and safety, and general day-to-day running of the clinic, including recruitment and scheduling.
I successfully gained ACC accreditation for SOAR Physio, which enabled the clinic to gain an EPN contract with ACC, and maintained a successful relationship with ACC.
Apart from these managerial tasks, I also ran the reception area and worked on general reception tasks, including, but not limited to, answering phone calls, making appointments, entering data, taking payments, and reconciling daily banking, to name a few of the tasks.
Accounting was and still is a large part of my role within the physiotherapy clinic, including PAYE, GST, payroll, and reconciling bank accounts using the Gensolve software program and XERO accounting system.
During these nine years, my main task was full-time at the reception desk and establishing our new business in Te Awamutu.
I successfully gained accreditation with ACC to obtain an EPN contract and recruited staff, along with our business partners, in the Hawkes Bay.
