Geoff Saxon

Electrical Tutor
Huntly,Hly

Summary

I have had a varied electrical career from an electrical Apprentice with TL Jones Christchurch learning commercial, industrial and lift installation and extending my experience to the Christchurch M.E.D. on domestic commercial and industrial supply fault diagnosis and power meter installation. Changing tach slightly became an industrial maintenance electrician with Mason Anderson Ltd (a heavy manufacturing company building the Benmore Dam turnstiles and steel smelteries producing large industrial products. Also I wired and commissioned Anderson Package boilers which sent globally.

A short spell contracting with James A Palmer before joining MSI Honeywell starting a new part of my career in Instrumentation & Control. I shifted from Christchurch to Wellington with the same company. My next step was an invite to be self employed with family in White goods appliances and electrical. Next a short term with the NZ state coal mines before spending the greater part of my career with Huntly Power Station until a general reorganisation and redundancies. This allowed my latest change to Electrical Engineering Tutor.
