My personal teaching philosophy is to create a environment in the classroom where all students feel safe, comfortable and empowered to reach their full potential in their learning. I understand the importance of encouraging every student to be their unique selves physically, mentally, socially and culturally in their identities.

I am particularly passionate about the topic of mental health and wellbeing, and I strive to reflect this in my teaching by emphasising emotional regulation tools for behaviour management and mindful teaching practices.
