I began work at Challenge marketing casually in late November 2022. At first this was a casual job in which I would help out when required, but since leaving Polson Higgs in July 2023 this became a part time job I have worked at weekly whilst studying.

My jobs include:

  • Entering Job sheet data using Adobe.
  • Editing Job sheet and Purchase order documents to keep all company materials free of grammar errors.
  • Quickly learning new skills and applying them to daily tasks, improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Demonstrating respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Delivering customer orders
  • Organizing documents by making sure they are uploaded digitally before being stored in folders.
  • Creating digital mockups using CorelDRAW®
  • Redesigning showroom displays
  • Creating marketing material using Canva
  • Providing product advice and recommendations to clients
  • Using Hoops CRM to manage client orders and details

AML Compliance Officer/Administrator

I started working as an AML Compliance Officer for Polson Higgs at the start of 2023. This was my first full time job and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I left mid 2023 to begin my studies. My responsibilities included:

Administration:

  • Provide a full range of administrative duties, including preparation of presentations, reports and correspondence as required.
  • Maintain key records and a filing system.

AML Compliance Officer:

  • On-boarding processes are robust, and all clients are
    correctly risk assessed and efficiently set up in the
    firm’s systems.
  • AML checks are completed correctly at time of client
    on-boarding. As clients and/or work changes, appropriate AML checks then again undertaken.
  • Preparation for AML audits is managed, and on-going monitoring of internal compliance is undertaken.
  • Quality manual and practice review compliance is monitored and evidenced.

Information and Database Management:

Specific databases are updated and required reporting is
undertaken, specifically:

  • Companies Office

- Annual returns are filed, and client details are up to date
- Reconcile invoices

  • XPM

- Client database maintenance

My jobs at Cafe Santosha include:

  • Maintaining customer satisfaction with timely table check-ins to assess food and beverage needs.
  • Using cash registers and credit card machines to cash out customers.
