Georgie Pope

Christchurch New Zealand,Strowan

Summary

My introduction to Nursing started in January 2022, on an elective surgical ward at St George’s Hospital Christchurch New Zealand. My new graduate year was composed of completing the nursing entry into practice programme(NETP) which has allowed me to be supported, safe, confident, and skilled in the nursing workforce environment. The experience I have acquired over my new graduate and second year as a registered nurse has allowed me to thrive in different work environments enhancing my clinical skills associated with all types of elective surgery. I value my goal as a nurse; to be caring, honest, reliable, professional and to apply sound knowledge in all care I provide. My passion for nursing lies within the surgical field and I would love the opportunity to consolidate my nursing experience in these areas further. I believe the experience I have gained over the past 18 months will allow me to effectively work in this environment to achieve identified patient healthcare outcomes.
