• Conducts site survey/assessment and shares gathered information to project design team in order to achieve the integrity of design proposals.
• Coordinate and collects data from project involved stakeholders and requests their interface requirements/procedure and details in order to reflect to project’s design proposals.
• Performs technical collaboration with other engineering discipline (e.g. electro-mechanical team, etc.) and assist technical team in preparing required construction documents.
• Collaborate with the QA/QC team in preparing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) with emphasis on procedures, Inspection and Test Plan and documentation system in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Plan, organize, direct, control and oversees performance/support of sub-contractors, material suppliers and 3rd party/independent testing agencies to ensure their compliance with the project requirement.
• Organize project resources (such as materials, equipment, manpower) and closely track on-time availability of the same at construction sites.
• Anticipates / considers potential risks and environmental impact issues in order to not hamper construction operations.
• Conducts regular communication/collaboration with project’s key construction personnel, to include procurement, plant and equipment, HSE, QA/QC, cost control and planning teams, about project execution plan to ensure a well-coordinated and smooth execution of the project.
• Supervise/monitors the safe and successful execution of trenchless pipeline installation (micro tunneling), dewatering system and over pumping system.
• Anticipates/forecast and determines potential risks, hazards, interface with other stakeholders’ facilities that will possibly hamper continuous construction operation. Develop remedial measures to address/mitigate if risks exist or encountered.
• Administers overall execution of project at construction sites and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the project’s governing codes, standards and specifications, referred international industry codes and standards, strict adherence/implementation of HSE program, achieve high quality work standards, meeting milestone dates/construction schedule and budget control.
• Where there are observed and/or anticipated project changes in scope of work as required by field condition.
• Interacts with the client’s project management team, in-house project support departments, key role players, the company’s senior project management and sub-contractors.
• Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with contract/project requirements and good Engineering practice.
• Constantly reports progress of work and escalate to senior management unforeseen issues that may hamper continuous construction operation and share remedial measures for assessment to avoid time and budget losses.
• Frequently monitors/assess work performance of sub-contractors specifically meeting milestone dates, quality of work, compliance to high level of safety and recommend corrective measures and/or recovery plan to overcome delayed activities or problems encountered.
