  • Started at Harrison Bloy as Branch Manager for the new and first North Island Branch
  • Was involved in planning the design, layout and structure of the branch: Trade and Showroom
  • Opened our trade business in May 2022 and bespoke destination showroom in Oct 2022
  • The branch has grown to 12 full-time staff and has many key clients and is still growing
  • Assisted in the opening and setup of a branch in Papamoa and Hamilton
  • FY25 saw the Tauriko branch go $200k over budget and being profitable
  • My current key focus areas are growing sales, long term client relationships and supplier collaboration to maximise the business potential and growth
  • Directly involved with the setup and workings around the branch budget, as well as reviewing against the monthly P&L

  • In Oct 2018 – I was promoted to General Manager of Direct Operations for ATM Solutions.
  • The role included the running of Operations of all the regions within South Africa. This included overseeing all 8 regional managers and their technical and office-based teams.
  • Overseeing Business development, HR functions, Budgets and PL for these regions was core to the job.
  • The broader team comprised of 10 senior level managers, their teams, made up of approximately 200 staff members, and ultimately responsible for a network, maintenance and infrastructure of over 5000 ATM devices located within South Africa.
  • Ran several cost-cutting initiatives and revenue driving projects within the ATM Network with great results.
  • Coaching and mentoring staff for growth is a passion, and became a daily task to ensure retention and succession planning was in place.
  • Enjoyed playing the role of “road-block” remover so my team could function at their best.

  • In Jan 2017, as Branch Manager, I was overseeing Head Office Regional Operations, National Customer Support and Dispatch as well as managing 50 staff members and being directly responsible for over 1300 ATMs.
  • In March 2017 I took over the Operational Business Reporting and Information and Operation Project portfolios for the business.
  • My team and I managed to grow and maintain excellent levels of ATM availability as well as growing the overall contribution in revenue and transaction volumes for the ATM network through sweating the assets and implementing cost saving efficiencies
  • Was awarded the best Region within South Africa for “Uptime” and availability at the end of 2017.

  • In July 2016, I moved seamlessly into the ATM Solutions Operational team to take over Special Projects and ATM Network Optimisation.
  • Started and completed several major projects over a 6-month period, on time and in budget.
  • Several of the projects resulted in streamlined and formalised processes, with increased visibility for the operational team as well as lowering costs and increased profitability on the ATM network.

  • Joined the DrawCard management team to take over all the operations for the business in 2011.
  • Quickly streamlined the operations and added value and costs savings to the company’s bottom line while significantly assisting in the running of the commercial and finance divisions.
  • Managed a large operational team including the customer support desk. Grew the support team from 5 to 10 people and implemented multiple incoming lines, operational procedures and all-round service excellence.
  • Successfully implemented Reload Mobile Money with multiple corporate companies as a complete cash replacement and remittance system, saving the companies time and money.
  • In January 2014 was promoted to Operations Executive and joined the DrawCard Executive Committee.
  • Managed multiple client and supplier relationships successfully. Growing revenue and reducing costs ensuring a positive effect for all and ultimately DrawCard.

  • Hired as the AG Cellular’s manager in charge of all sales and operations. AG Cellular manufactures and distributes its own brand of cell phones.
  • Promoted to Managing Director Operations and grew the company from a staff compliment of 30 to over 150 full time staff.
  • Took charge of all aspects of the company operations, from customer services through to warehouse management and reverse logistics.
  • Implemented a new seamless repair system in conjunction with a Cape Town based repair centre and the cell phone suppliers in China.

Regional Manager

  • Developed and implemented the change control process for the company
  • This included: An intricate understanding and knowledge of the contracts, deals and client relations
  • Worked closely with the FD, on implementing the internal audit function for the company
  • Dealt with several finance houses regarding clients lease agreements
  • Developed and refined several new deal structures for future business with current clients
  • Became 2IC to the financial manager, and learnt and assumed more responsibility within the department
  • This included: Checking and authorising all the company supplier accounts The monthly management accounts and report
  • In March 2007 was promoted to Regional Manager for the Northern Provinces
  • Managing 11 staff members, from admin and office support to remote technicians and looking after 400 plus clients and ATMs
  • Worked in tandem with Fidelity Cash Management Services to ensure that the ATM’s were always supplied with sufficient cash and that the correct replenishment procedures were followed.
  • In the time spent as regional manager, the team managed superb results, increasing transactions and availability of the ATMs and therefore overall customer satisfaction and retention
  • Reason for leaving was that I was given an opportunity at a young company to take on more responsibility and to implement skills gained from my experience and studies
