in this role i have loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas. i have also expanded my skill set through continuous learning of new techniques, tools, and equipment related to labourer tasks. I have contributed to successful completion of projects by following instructions from supervisors and adapting to changing priorities. in the role i have also performed general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
This was a temporary position helping at The Hilton in Kelvin Heights. The role was mainly to stain the wood on the exterior of the building which was completed to the satisfaction of the employer. Other duties included ensuring the site was kept safe, clean, and organised, and to make sure areas were properly covered with tape and drop sheets to avoid unnecessary spillages.
This role involved the delivery of specially adapted vehicles to allow access for wheelchairs and/or mobility scooters. The role also involved the demonstration to the customers, carers, and/or family members, of how to safely use all equipment in the vehicle such as operating the lifts/hoists and securing the wheelchairs into the vehicle.
While working for the patient transport service within the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, my duties involved the safe transportation of patients to and from routine hospital appointments either as part of a team or as an individual. The role also involved transporting patients to and from regular appoints such as daily radiotherapy or dialysis treatment.
