I have been working with the Postie Plus Group in Whanganui as a Casual for around 3 months. I have made an effort on picking up shifts, when needed and even asking for them if I am wanting to earn some extra money.

When working I strive to achieve the most throughout my day whether the shift is as small as 3 hours or a full day. I have familiarized myself with how stocking, unpacking stock works and have recently begun marking down prices or marking up prices. I have great experience when it comes to customer service and am always making the effort to serve customers in between the small tasks I do at Postie.

I am excellent when it comes to working in a team environment and collaborate well with others. I am quite friendly and enjoy having chats in between tasks and over all supporting my team.

At New World Whanganui I worked part time for around a year and a half whilst I was completing my education. As a starting job it taught me a lot based around Customer Service and gave me the confidence when it came to helping customers when they were in need of service.

New World Whanganui provided me with the building structures for multiple things alongside operating a register and learning how to handle money. I am now efficient and able when it comes to working under pressure and enjoyed helping out in other departments such as Grocery which involved restocking.

Working together as a team was well required and because of my experience I was able to learn to communicate very well with my peers as well as my managers.
