• Working within the Engineering team on a rotating shift basis, to maintain and ensure availability of Large Parcel Automated sorting machines. Cutting-edge technology, which utilises electrical, mechanical, and computerised control methodology
• Servicing and maintaining various automated sortation equipment, as well as being involved improving and developing the current machines,diagnostics and repair. Ensuring plant reliability and effetely.
• Check the wiring and mechanical diagrams, specifications to determine correct parts and sequences and methods of operation task.
• Performing schedule maintenance tasks, daily inspections.
• Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and overhauling and repairing electrical parts and equipment during shift or called out.
• Accurate spares control.
• Experience working with single phase and 3 phase motors, equipment and devices, AC /DC Voltages, and PLCs ,and SCADA System.
• Working with industrial printing equipment.
• Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition Technology.
• Trained junior technicians in proper techniques and safety protocols, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Safety and Health focused.
