  • The focus of this work was with at-risk youth in a high-poverty, high-pressure environment. This enabled me to learn how to work under pressure, empower others, and develop initiatives quickly. I am passionate about working with rangitahi, as they give me hope and joy for the future.
  • I established a golf program with the underprivileged tamariki at the schools. I sourced all of the golf gear by developing connections with other surrounding golf courses and people of the golfing community throughout New Zealand. I went on to coach 2 of the students who made the Bay Of Plenty Maori Team.

Fun Facts

  • I have played golf for 20 years of my life and represented Aorangi Golf for 5 years in various age group roles. This has taken me to many different places around New Zealand where I have won a variety of trophies and medals.
  • I have achieved a black belt in Seido Karate which took 6 years of training.
  • Music is a big part of my life, to which I have played the piano/keyboard for 18 years and the guitar for 5 years.
