Hana Tran

I am writing to express my interest in the opportunity with your organisation. I’m a NZ citizen who just completed my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Auckland. My academic journey began in biomedical science before transitioning to a chemistry major, which has equipped me with a diverse scientific skill set and a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Although my academic background is in science, I have developed many transferable skills through my work as a beautician. Since high school, I have worked part-time during the school year and full-time during breaks to support myself financially. While these roles may not be directly related to my degree, they have helped me hone essential qualities such as dedication, time management, and the ability to work under pressure—skills that I believe will benefit me in any future professional setting.

I am committed to continuous personal and professional growth. I am self-aware, continually seeking ways to improve, and eager to embrace new challenges and learn new skills. In addition, I am fluent in both Vietnamese and English, which enhances my ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments. I am also a member of the Auckland Northern Toastmasters Club, where I work on my leadership and public speaking abilities.

Outside of my academic and professional life, I have a passion for music and video production, having performed within the Vietnamese community. These hobbies serve as a valuable outlet for stress management, enabling me to maintain a balanced and efficient approach to work.
