Winner of Katherine Mansfield Short Story Award, 2022

My short story 'Henry and Eliza' won the 2022 Katherine Mansfield Short Story Award run by Katherine Mansfield House and Garden. My short story 'The Yellow House' was also shortlisted in the 2021 competition.


Winner of 2022 Poetry New Zealand Yearbook student poetry competition

I won first place in the Year 13 category of the 2022 Poetry New Zealand Yearbook student poetry competition run by Massey University for my poem 'Medusa'.


Finalist in National Schools Poetry Award, 2022

I was a finalist in the National Schools Poetry Award 2022 with my poem 'Bath time'.


Selection for NZIBO training camp, 2022

I was one of 26 students in the country selected for the ten day NZIBO (New Zealand International Biology Olympiad) training camp in April 2022 following the selection examination in March 2022.


Winner of the Concours Oral, 2021

In 2021 I won the Year 13/B2 level of the Concours Oral, the official annual national French speaking competition for New Zealand secondary school students.


Completing the DELF B2, 2021

In October 2021 I passed the DELF B2 French examination with a high overall mark of 91.5%, which evidences my high intermediate level of French.

This position involved engaging peers in discourse around sexual violence prevention and raising awareness about the services Te Whare Tāwharau (the on-campus sexual violence support and prevention centre) offers.

This was a two week full time volunteer farm placement position that was arranged by my school as part of my school's Year 10 Farm Experience Programme. While at the farm, I had a range of duties including bread baking, doing dishes, making dinner, dog walking, assisting with sheep shearing, caring for horses, feeding poultry, and cleaning rabbit cages.
