Project Experience

May 2024 – June 2024 Sign-SYS NZSL Recognition | Python | University of Auckland

  • Sign-SYS is a Python application that applies CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) models to let users train PyTorch models that predict the gesture in NZSL and return the predicted result to the user as a graph.

April 2024 – June 2024 Flappy Bird Game | VHDL | University of Auckland

  • Developed a Flappy Bird game using VHDL and prototyped on a Cyclone V FPGA board. Users control the bird with a PS/2 mouse and view the game on a VGA interface (or computer monitor).

March 2024 – April 2024 MotoZon | Java | University of Auckland

  • MotoZoo is an Android application that lets users shop for cars. Made in Android Studio using Java as well as Firebase Realtime Database for user registration/logins and storage of car data.

September 2023 – November 2023 Smart Energy Monitor | C | University of Auckland

  • Created energy monitor using embedded C firmware on Microchip Studio to allow analogue to digital conversion. Designed a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) on Altium Designer to control circuitry for the energy monitor that displays voltage, current and power usage.

May 2023 – May 2023 Morra Game | Java | University of Auckland

  • I developed an AI for the hand game Morra. Players will face AI in different challenge levels. I made use of Java abstract classes, interfaces, and factory design patterns when creating my program.
