Haruka is an experienced social marketer specialising in behaviour change for health and well-being. With a decade of expertise, she has played a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes ranging from community-based to state-wide levels in Australia. She has worked on more than 15 projects advocating healthy lifestyles such as physical activity, healthy eating, and disease prevention. For example, for the My Health for Life! project, she collaborated with the Queensland Health Alliance, co-designing and evaluating the programme, contributing to a positive shift in the health habits of 14,000 Queenslanders. In addition, Haruka has 9 years of public relations and marketing experience in the international NGO and commercial industry in Japan.
