Established private practice in Queenstown 1-2 days per month. Breadth of patients seen, particular focus on Neurodiversity and mental health issues.

Senior Medical Officer AED. Responsible for team of 12 medical staff per shift, education and mentoring of students.

Medical lead of AED Wellbeing group working alongside Nursing Wellbeing lead and in collaboration with allied health, Maori health leads, clerical and support staff. Initiated Learning from Excellence platform while in role.

Member of strategy group formed late 2022 with responsibility for setting framework for department future vision. Responsible for Wellbeing and people development content.

Reporting to Clinical Director and Medical Director, this was a new role for the organisation. Leading a workforce of over 100 doctors and 200 nurses.

Paediatric lead for medical cannabis clinic. I approached this role with curiosity with limited knowledge of medical cannabis but was aware many paediatric patients were being put on treatment. My aim is to ensure that all families have availability to treatment where appropriate, but ensuring mainstream approaches have been first considered and where necessary, cautious, monitored approach is taken.

• Faculty member for 11 years instructing senior workforce guided by Crisis Resource Management (CRM) principles.
• Debrief and facilitation to support participants and identify root causes of problems.
• Improved participant performance by defining clear goals and communicating performance metrics.
• Evaluated and revised lesson plans and course content to achieve participant-centered learning.
• Promoted simulation safety, collaboration and best practices.
• Applied various teaching aids to minimize learning gaps and instruct and motivate students.

• Defined medical and administrative best practices in policies and procedures
• Responsible for education, mentoring and leading team of students through to senior staff
• Directed and coordinated patient care activities of nursing and support staff.

Established HIVE (Healthy Individuals, Vibrant Environment ) Wellbeing programme within Children's Emergency Department.

Awarded ACEM (Australasian College of Emergency Medicine) wellbeing award 2021. Programme included Newsletter, Learning from Excellence, branding and bringing to policy and action wellbeing of all staff and whanau.

Initiate and evaluate mass casualty plans for the emergency departments. Began collaboration between two departments that otherwise function very separately.

Responsible for writing roster for senior staff. Took upon myself to optimise autonomy, transparency and equity for all staff.

Starship CED Covid 19 Working Group. Provided collaboration with Adult Emergency
