I live in Titirangi with my husband and son, and I have been a stay-at-home mother since the birth of my son in 2021. I am a registered teacher (processing as expired) with varied experience working in different areas of early childhood and philosophy
My teaching philosophy and practice have been greatly impacted and strengthened after becoming a mother, and I have gained a deeper perspective on my own life and the kind of teacher I want to be
I strongly believe in a thoughtful and kind learning approach and want to create an environment where a child feels respected, supported, and loved
I find value in being a part of a team by working and learning together with others through collaboration and shared knowledge
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with children of all ages, and I believe that the way you approach children should be individualized and unique to each child. I am, and have always been, passionate about children, I have a calm demeanor, and work well under pressure, I love the outdoors and natural resources In my personal time, I often drive down to Tairua with my family on the weekends to spend time with extended family and friends; I enjoy gardening, the sea, hiking, and love horse riding
